"Seeds of Intention" Workshop with Elizabeth Linton Sunday, January 22nd, 2-4:30pm During this workshop,
students will be guided to see the gifts that they have been offered in their lives and to sit in a place of gratitude.
We will then plant seeds of intention for the coming year and to cultivate, through our asana, meditation and breath,
how to nurture these seeds so that they can grow and flourish in our lives. Class is open to all students of
all levels. About Elizabeth: Elizabeth is an Anusara-inspired instructor and was fortunate enough to begin her yoga journey during her first year of college,
in the fall of 2000, by the grace of a friend who just wouldn't stop asking until she finally gave in and walked through the
door of the local studio. This first teacher began to open the possibilities for Elizabeth, to help her to see the goodness and potential within her own heart, and to know that this beauty
lives within all beings. Since then she has gone on to find a style of yoga, Anusara Yoga, that shares exactly this message.
In addition to this first teacher, named Michael Curtis, Elizabeth been blessed with many incredible guides along the yogic
path, including Anusara teachers Amy Ippoliti and Ross Rayburn, as well as John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga. All of
these teachers and her fellow practitioners have continued to inspire Elizabeth to deepen her own personal practice, to learn more each day, and eventually to teach others. After
several years of teaching, she was recognized as an Anusara-Inspired teacher in 2008. Elizabeth enjoys getting people excited about their yoga practice and helping them to see that anything is possible
for them, on or off the yoga mat. Elizabeth has recently
returned from a year of traveling and teaching in Asia
and is currently residing in Orange County, CA.

A Blissful Evening of Kirtan lead by Yogis & Friends Friday, Jan 20, 2012, 6:30pm-8:30pm
(changed from 7-9pm) Kirtan is a meditative and high energy "call and response" style of music born of the
Bhakti Yoga tradition. "Bhakti" is the yoga of love, devotion, and music. In kirtan we combine our voices, minds,
hearts, and breath with music to build an ecstatic energy virtually impossible to duplicate. There is no line between band
and audience as we become all one entity with the vibrations. No prior singing experience necessary. In fact, we encourage
you even more. Join in the love and bhakti with beautiful voices and sweet melodies!!! Come with an open
heart and enjoy some of life’s sweet nectar.
Cost: Love donation $10-$20
