Class Descriptions

Beginners and Yoga For Stiff People

Perfect for beginners, no experience or flexibility required.  Poses are modified and adapted to the individual need of the student.


Relax deeply in this mellow class with the support of props and long held passive poses.  This class is designed to help you calm your nervous system.  You will feel rejuvenated.

Therapeutic Yoga / Healthy Back

This class offers unique ways to support the special needs of the individual in their own process of healing.  Emphasis is on releasing tension in the body through gentle stretching, strengthening and developing flexibility. Poses and movements are adapted to the individual needs of each participant. Each class has different focus and may include a variety of sequences/techniques, such as back, shoulders, balancing, and even brain health.


Mindful Flow

This class will balance the body in a satisfying, well-rounded practice that may include therapeutic/structural yoga techniques, active yoga poses, moving with the breath, chanting, breath work and meditation.  You will learn more about your body, posture habits, weak and/or tight spots, and how to practice skillfully so that the yoga poses truly serve your health and well-being.
